Qigong for Vitality

I’ve been practicing Qigong for over a year, and I feel it’s been beneficial for me. It helps me to relax, stretch muscles, alleviate pain and makes me focus on the here and now, something most of lose the ability to achieve. I can happily report that I’ve turned several of my friends onto the practice and they tell me, it’s also been something positive in their lives.

Hello Healthy Qi Seekers!

I often wonder how we, as individuals, can help.

How can we help our friends, family, community and even the world? How can we solve problems, alleviate pain and suffering, and brighten someone’s day? β˜€οΈ

Often the discomfort, tension and chaos seem so big, that we wonder “What could I possibly do?”

In reality…

There are big bold actions that we can take. These are easy to see – we just need the clarity and energy to do them.

There are also quiet, peaceful and intentional practices that can help.

This could be:

πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ Practicing patience when someone is rushing
🌷 Holding a ‘neutral space’ when someone is emotional, or
πŸŒ„ Simply taking a deep breath and relaxing into the “here and now”

Often we feel as if we have to do something noticeable to really make a positive impact, but in reality finding a state of calm, connecting to our root energy and sending it out to where it is needed, can be extremely helpful!

One version of this is Metta Qigong.

This is where we breathe for a few minutes, accumulate Qi, then send it out as love, kindness, good Qi, and healing.🌞

It may be a little ‘out there’ and esoteric – but I am certain it is helpful… even if it is just a little bit! πŸ™‚

I know there are a lot of people experiencing tension right now.

I wanted to try to help a little bit, so today at 10am PST I will be doing a livestream on Youtube.

The intention is to gather good hearted people together to:

When people gather together to practice Metta, it’s like lighting many candles to illuminate the darkness.
