After careful consideration…
I started my Etsy shop, Discovering BTS approximately two years ago, selling 4″ X 6″ fanart prints of all the members of BTS, and signed copies of my book, Discovering BTS: an unexpected journey. The shop did very well and received five-star reviews from all my customers. But this year things ground to a halt, so I placed it in vacation mode (took a hiatus) for several months. Friends said, sometimes it helps to take a break, and I was okay with that.
However, it’s been two months since I re-opened the doors, and not one sale, even though I’ve had numerous visitors to the store, and placed my already well-priced items on deep discount. And even though the Etsy per item fees were low, spending money while not making any would be a foolish investment. My thought is, I can always add my signed books, or maybe some of my BTS prints to my Proud Daughter Publishing site. It’s something to think about.
