Somewhere in England 1944-1945 – Handwritten Letters from Julian

A friend of mine found letters from a WWII veteran, and shared them with me. All I know is that his name was Julian and his sweetheart’s name was Ginger. I would assume from the photo found within the souvenir cover, that they were possibly from Dearborn, MI? Interesting for many reasons, but the club wasn’t far from where I grew up in Detroit, at Wyoming and Fenkell.

Click the link for the scanned handwritten letters from Julian. They each begin, “Somewhere in England”, then have dates ranging from 6-6-44 (the Normandy D-Day invasion) until January 1945.
