They don’t get me…

One of the reasons I started this blog was to have a refuge to write about the things I love and that includes science. Let’s face it; most people simply don’t “get me”! ha!  Oh there are a few and I’ve had peeps tell me that they love my Facebook posts, but to be honest they’re few and far between. I’m postive that most fly by my “stuff” at the speed of light, uttering such things as, “Oh gawd, she’s talking about NASA again!” Boring!

And this morning was no exception as I scrolled past articles about Dr. Michelle Thaller (astronomer), the Headlands International Dark Sky Park and a story on Space.com regarding astronauts suffering from higher body temperatures during long space flights. NO FB LIKES! Am I surprised? Heck no! I find it rather amusing.

I was talking to a friend about this over dinner the other night, and he simply looked at me and said, “You need better friends!” I had to laugh.

And btw, I think it’s the perfect day to watch 2010 again. Don’t you?
