Senna flies to Atlanta

Have I been having fun with my sloth? You bet, but now it’s even better, because Senna has a brother named, Jimin. Now he no longer has to be alone when I’m not around. ha-ha!

Before I “adopted” Jimin, Senna had his first flight to Atlanta, Ga, where everyone fell in love with him, including a couple flight attendants who commented how realistic he appeared. Let’s just say he turned a few heads in the terminal and on the plane.

A woman sitting two seats from me, actually thought he was real. I laughed, turned him around and explained that he was my stuffed animal sloth. “He’s not real?”, she exclaimed, “I thought it was a real dog!”, she smiled. Let’s just say he was a conversation starter, no matter where I went. They even got a kick out of him going through security. That’s how you make them grin!

Speaking of security, I had a bit of a scare. When I was going through the lines on my way back to Detroit, I had to run all my items through the scanner, including my sloth. While waiting in line for my things to be returned, NO SENNA!  EEK!  I mentioned something to one of the guards, who kindly offered to assist me. Sure enough, two minutes later, Senna appeared. No harm done. Ahhh!

And here’s Senna chillaxing in Atlanta, GA, alongside a coffee cup that says, Jimin.  Long story short, my granddaughter, Jessica, turned me onto to her fave KPOP group, BTS, and when I arrived at her house, she presented me with a BTS cup, sporting my favorite guy in the group. While watching a BTS video with her later that day, Jimin is seen being teased about being a SLOTH. After that, there was no doubt – my next sloth’s name would be Jimin!

The third photo is of Senna riding with me in my car. He loves to travel and of course, he faithfully wears his seatbelt. Good boy!

That last photos of the day show the two of them climbing in my Rose of Sharon out back. They seem pretty happy chilling. Oh, you may ask, how do I tell them apart? Well, even my husband can do it, now. LOL! Senna has a wider band of brown on his around his eyes (more racoon looking), while Jimin has a wider band of tan above his eyes, and darker gray fur below his snout.

No real pets for me? Don’t worry, no problem! For one thing, I don’t have to take them to the vet, etc., though Senna did get a well-needed shower the other day. Hope they make you smile…
