If you could do it all over again
I believe a good life is a fine balance between work and play, I don’t want my epitaph to be, “Here lies Marion, she worked her ass off!” End of story! To me that would be a sad existence. I’d rather be known as dedicated and productive, yet fun-loving, creative, and caring. One who relished her days by observing a star-filled universe, appreciating blue skies, or gently falling snow, listening to songbirds greet the morning, and spending quality time with those she loved. One who left an indelible mark on the world through her actions and deeds. One who made enough money to live comfortably, taking care of the basics but an individual who not only nourished her mind, body, and soul at the same time but those of the ones who surrounded her.
That’s what it’s all about, Charlie Brown – a life worth living each day. Our time on Earth is too short to live it any other way.
“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
― Albert Einstein
“Life is really simple, but men insist on making it complicated.” — Confucius
Be moderate in order to taste the joys of life in abundance ~ Epicurus
“All the art of living lies in a fine mingling of letting go and holding on.” —Havelock Ellis
💜 you brought this to me💜🥰
As time goes on and we older I want to be able to do fun, enjoyable things in life like read, puzzles, exercise, visit friend, family. I do not want to have to tell myself I cannot do any of this stuff because I have a time time. No time to have fun! Enjoy what time we have left on this earth!
Point, set and hit . Love this whole mindset. Reminds me of 7 specific gentleman who’s lives while not always picture perfect, seem to focus on pleasure, growth, overcoming and challenging the roads set before them. Definitely something I want to live by.
