Fave Quotes by Albert Einstein
One of my all time heroes is Albert Einstein. Others may look to Hollywood stars, but not me. I have a photo of him on my guest room wall. No, it’s not a photo of the man himself, but of a wonderfully carved statue which sits in a serene park in Washington DC. He is looking down at a field of stars, contemplating the universe. I adore it.
Not only do I admire him for his accomplishments, but he’s said some incredible witty and insightful things. Some of my faves…
“Life is liking riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.”
“Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
“I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots.”
“Logic will get you from A to B. imagination will take you everywhere.”
“Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.”
“Weak people revenge. Strong people forgive. Intelligent people ignore.”
“Stay away from negative people. They have a problem for every solution.”
“If A equals success, then the formula is A equals X plus Y plus Z, where X is work, Y is play, and Z is keeping your mouth shut.”
“Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death.”
“The one who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The one who walks alone is likely to find themselves in places no one has ever been before.”
“Information is not knowledge.” – Oh had to comment, because so many people on social media need to be reminded of this on a daily basis!!!
“He who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe is as good as dead; his eyes are closed.”
