Coincidence?

Some people seemed inextricably connected to each other and it was proven to me again this morning.

Years ago through my research, I met a wonderful WWII veteran, James Hennessey. We immediately hit it off and wound up being the best of friends. We talked all the time via the internet, and through cards and letters. He was a ray of sunshine and I always looked forward to our conversations. Sadly, he passed away three years ago on my birthday.

I remember looking heavenward that day and laughing aloud, “James, that’s just like you to pass away on my birthday. You did that on purpose so I wouldn’t forget you, you crazy Irishman!” Trust me, he was chuckling.

Today, I sent an email to his son, Jimbeau, wishing him and his family a very Happy Thanksgiving. Well here’s yet another link to your dad; I’m releasing book three of my children’s trilogy tomorrow. Yep, your dad’s birthday.

Coincidence? I think not!
