Irons Park – A river runs through

Earlier this week, I visited my favorite local park – Irons Park in West Branch, MI, USA. It’s an inviting place for me full of bird and other nature sounds. A spot that’s inviting, soothing, and relaxing. I could sit by the river for hours and watch and listen to the water sift through the rocks and twigs, getting lost in the tranquility, forgetting any previous petty thoughts.

I’ve always wanted to live by a small creek or river. I’m not a lake or ocean person, although I appreciate their beauty. But somehow, I’m drawn to meandering streams and the peace and quiet they bring to my soul. No matter the time or day, it slows me down and reminds me how precious and beautiful life is.
