Backyard Birding with Me

Part of my new daily ritual is viewing the various cloud videos from my new bird cam feeder. I adore seeing who has stopped by for a visit. Sometimes a battle is brewing as I watch the timid birds holding their ground against the more aggressive ones such as the cowbirds and the redwing blackbirds. Sometimes it’s sweet, seeing a mated pair feeding together, side-by-side. Then it can be downright hysterical when a giant blob of brown and gray fills my screen, better known to you as a squirrel! Sigh! Most often it’s Earl. However, he’s now followed by his buddy, Stuart. He’s a quick study. Like I don’t feed you enough peanuts and other assorted squirrel goodies every day? You guys are just insatiable! Please save some for our feathered friends. Sharing is caring. Ya, right ma!
