Discovering BTS book cover

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I took over the job as cover illustrator. I hope you like my choice. I will be uploading it tonight to KDP, then waiting for them to send me a draft print of the book for proofing. So once I give them my blessing, the book will go into publishing. Won’t be long now folks. 

I took the photo last summer in Port Austin, MI, overlooking Lake Huron, then water-colored the photograph. I’m proud to say this is my creation from front to back. 

UPDATE:  While everyone who saw it loved the cover, many said it needed an image of some sort of BTS. So, I added this as a dreamy effect in the clouds of the cover. 

Third attempt. My friend Donna came up with the idea of whales inspired by WAB:E. BTS and ARMY will get the reference.
