Flat Earthers – At least they’re good for a giggle
While exploring for more information for the upcoming documentary, Armstrong, I visited the accompanying Facebook page. And of course, it was difficult overlooking this comment, left by an, er, uninformed (yes, I’m being nice) person.
“Lies. Most people now believe that Armstrong and Co never landed on the moon.”
Hmm, I wonder where they gathered their statistics? Most people? Wonder how I missed those facts? We must be reading different articles and obviously, we did not attend the same schools, and certainly we’re not viewing the same shows available on tv, and elsewhere.
One thing I always wanted to ask “these” people – If NASA, was truly promoting lies and misinformation, then why did they bother perpetrating the fabrication of such events as, Apollo One, where three astronauts perished in a horrible fire? The American space program came crashing to a halt, and many wondered about the future of NASA. Or Apollo Thirteen, when the world held its breath, wondering if the crew would perish in space? Or how about the Challenger and Columbia disasters? Then you’d have to ask yourself, what happened to the astronauts who died? Oh I see, they didn’t actually die, but were probably whisked away in some type of coverup. Ahh! Yes, tell that to the thousands of individuals who covered hundreds of miles of the debris field left by the Columbia disaster. Guess they were all paid off, too.
When you think about the scope of events and all the nations involved in space exploration – Russia, Japan, India, the United States, England, Canada, Germany, etc., how do you keep a secret, a secret, when millions of people, and hundreds of agencies, and corporations are involved, to say nothing of the friends and families of those millions of people? It’s simply absurd.
And then, how is it even conceivable that this vast group of participants all over the world, managed this collaboration? That’s quite a feat, wouldn’t you say? Imagine the logistics involved! NASA and related space agencies, not to mention every contractor around the world, such as Northrop Grumman, JPL, Goddard, Boeing, Raytheon, and hundreds more.
I guess the only good thing about “them”? At least they’re good for a giggle.
