Thank you from the bottom of my heart for showcasing this song today. Not only is it one of my island songs, but I had the wonderful opportunity to see him perform, In Your Eyes, in Detroit, with a full repertoire of singers and musicians. It was one of the most beautiful and inspiring pieces I’ve ever heard. The African influence/rhythms just grab you by your socks and take over. It’s impossible to sit still.

Peter wrote this song for his wife, when they were going through a divorce. The love is undeniable in sentiment, chord and voice.
