Saturday, I shared an article, Collaring Tender the Sloth, and today I’m going to tell you how I “adopted” two sloths. I am now the happy “parent” of Ali and her daughter, Jessica, by donating $25.00 via Adopt-a-Sloth.

The Sloth Conservation is a registered charitable organization founded by Dr. Rebecca Cliffe, which is dedicated to saving sloths in the wild. To do this, we develop long-term conservation solutions that provide sustainable ways for sloths to coexist with the people sharing their habitat.
This includes collaborating with other organizations, NGOs, and state agencies to reduce the number of injured and orphaned sloths arriving at the rescue centers. With the help of our generous donors and symbolic sloth adopters, we installed over 250 wildlife bridges and connected hundreds of properties as wildlife corridors in Costa Rica.
