I’m not one who usually complains, as I’m a positive person, however, I feel the need to blow off some steam this weekend.

And then there were five!
Yesterday, we hadn’t seen any of our four chippies, and were starting to fear the worst. All the seed we put out in the morning was still there. Oh no! But this morning when we awoke, there were signs that they were back. Maybe yesterday was a holiday and they were taking a chippie hiatus. You never know.
Well, they are back in force and I’m happy to report that there’s now a fifth…
Electrifying
You know me, always interested in science and weather-related articles are no exception. The following is from Spaceweather.com, and I learned something new.
THE MAY 10TH SUPERSTORM ELECTRIFIED EARTH’S ATMOSPHERE: The geomagnetic superstorm of May 10, 2024, did more than spark widespread auroras. New data show that it also electrified Earth’s atmosphere. Fair weather electric fields jumped as much as 15% for four days after the storm.
Symon the African Grey
I absolutely fell in love with Symon, a female African grey with an English accent (she picked that up from daddy)! So, I was inspired to do a fan art piece and wanted to share her dad so I told him I would post it on my blog, today. Hope you love it. I think she looks rather majestic, almost “eaglesque”!
