Pharaby, the talking dog

Several weeks ago, I began watching videos on Pharaby, a dog who uses AIC buttons to communicate with her owner, Jen. Here’s her website and here’s her YouTube channel.

What are AIC buttons? Augmentative Interspecies Communication is a form of assistive language technology that can give your companion a voice and a way for them to understand you better. It augments normal interaction and began as a way to communicate with non-verbal people. Not only used with dogs but often with cats too.

I think you’ll be as amazed and intrigued enough to follow her and others who use similar systems for their pets.
