Most days when writing, I do so in silence, purposefully blocking any distractions. However, there are days like this morning, when I welcome strains of bluesy melodies to inspire and guide me. It all depends on the mood and today my synapses are happy firing across dendrites and axons to David Gilmour’s, On An Island, album. P.S. I think Tukaa likes the album too.

Taking a break this afternoon and ran across this new release from David Gilmour (Pink Floyd). This song Between Two Points, features his daughter, Romany Gilmour. Like many songs from David and Pink Floyd, it has a haunted, melancholy feel to it. Beautiful in its simplicity.
