Seems too many people let themselves get perturbed by things they can’t control. Some even worry themselves to death or at least give themselves ulcers in the interim. But just as Dr. K states above, in one of his many Guides to Mental Health, we let the things we can’t control, control the things WE CAN CONTROL.

I believe a good life is a fine balance between work and play, I don’t want my epitaph to be, “Here lies Marion, she worked her ass off!” End of story! To me that would be a sad existence. I’d rather be known as dedicated and productive, yet fun-loving, creative, and caring. One who relished her days by observing a star-filled universe, appreciating blue skies, or gently falling snow, listening to songbirds greet the morning, and spending quality time with those she loved. One who left an indelible mark on the world through her actions and deeds. One who made enough money to live comfortably, taking care of the basics but an individual who not only nourished her mind, body, and soul at the same time but those of the ones who surrounded her…
