A bit of Zen this morning
I ran into his account on Instagram, several weeks ago. Such beautiful music. He has obviously mastered his craft – playing the erhu, an ancient Chinese instrument.

I’ve tried various workouts throughout my life; however, when I began doing yoga, and then discovered Tai Chi and Qigong I found a well-rounded routine that includes, mind, body, and spirit. Seems too many of us strictly focus on the body but leave out mental well-being. I feel this is a huge oversight, and for that, we can thank the Western medical mindset which ignored the benefits and often ridiculed thousands of years of Eastern practices. To that end, a stigma was placed on mental health, and the subject was often relegated to the closet. Such a shame.
Hmmm, how do I begin? Just a few minutes ago I was lying in bed, and when I closed my eyes, I saw a video of a woman interacting with a green parrot. It lasted several seconds, then appeared to replay. It’s not the first time it’s happened.
I’ve been thinking about creating audio versions for the Story of Q trilogy and came up with a possible AI voice.
Of course, I had to make a few alterations to the text to make it flow better, then had to come up with creative spelling (phonetics) for the main character’s nickname, Rache. The AI read it as “Ratch”. Hmmm, so I tried Raych, but she still pronounced it the same. Ah, back to the drawing board. Finally, tried Raech. Bingo, that worked.
