Mary, Mary, quite contrary, where the hell have you been?

No excuses, but I’ve been so preoccupied with editing projects that I haven’t had the time or the inclination to post. After working eight to ten hours per day, I couldn’t muster any more energy. So there. That is my excuse!

I’m nearing completion of Project Earth by Jay Fiondella, and I’m proud to say that it’s a top-notch book with lots of promise. If you’re a sci-fi fan, I think this will be to your liking. Look for a publication date in early April.

I’ve been thinking about creating audio versions for the Story of Q trilogy and came up with a possible AI voice.

Of course, I had to make a few alterations to the text to make it flow better, then had to come up with creative spelling (phonetics) for the main character’s nickname, Rache. The AI read it as “Ratch”. Hmmm, so I tried Raych, but she still pronounced it the same. Ah, back to the drawing board. Finally, tried Raech. Bingo, that worked.

If you haven’t seen this video, or even heard of IU (a famous Korean singer, songwriter, composer and actress), I think you will be in for a real treat. The video features her song, Love Wins all, from her latest album, The Winning. Fans of BTS were also pleasantly surprised when they realized that the “leading man” was BTS’s own V, otherwise known as Taehyung.
